Living River has annual retreats in the Spring and Fall for elementary-age kids.

This retreat is great for first-time campers or children who already love camp. Children get to do all the fun camp things from making bracelets to gaga ball to fishing! Children also hear from a keynote speaker and are are in small groups with each other as they explore questions about God and themselves together. This retreat's keynote speaker is Rev. Abby Gatliff, Associate Pastor at South Highland Presbyterian Church.
Accompanying adults(s) could be parents, grandparents, or other beloved family members or friends. Adults could be the accompanying adult for more than one child or a child could have more than one adult accompany them. That part is flexible! All adults will be equipped with small group material and will help lead a small group during the retreat as well as helping chaperone activities. Cost- $100 per child, $150 per adult Registration deadline- April 20 Retreat Begins- Friday evening, dinner included Retreat Ends- Sunday before noon |

Each Fall and Spring, the Youth Council of the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley hosts a Youth Retreat!

What should my kid or youth bring for retreats at Living River?
A couple of changes of clothes and underwear, socks, tennis shoes, pj’s, sleeping bag (or twin sheets and a blanket), pillow, towel, wash cloth, water bottle, toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, brush/comb, tooth brush, tooth paste, etc.), bug spray, sunscreen, “lovey,” book or card games, plastic bag for wet clothes coming home.
Please do not bring: electronic devices, cell phones, or snacks (no food allowed in cabins).
